LOTLab is a relaxed try-out format, free of charge especially aimed at our community to jam, experiment and share skills. The LOTLab offers space for the uncomplicated testing of new ideas, formats, working methods and collaborations - a laboratory where things simmer, bubble and fizzle. Trial and error desired, experiments welcomed! It could be something you haven't dared to try out yet or didn't have the means to do so (funding, space, opportunity, etc.).

Hosts: Artists, Researchers & Adventurers

You have an idea in mind, but don't have a space to try it out - LOTLab is yours! The format is aimed at our Community (Lots:innen). All disciplines are welcomed.
If the slot is free, we offer it to the public. It supports you in experimenting and refining unconventional ideas in a supportive environment. Do you want to test an Idea or new collaboration without too much bureaucracy and the pressure of proving success? Come and dare!

 

Audience: Peers & Visitors

Are you curious about new things and fancy surprises? Then come to our Labs! On Tuesdays, Das LOT transforms into an experimental space for new ideas and creative explorations from Vienna's independent art and culture scene. The focus is on exchange, openness and curiosity. Connect and support fellow artists and colleagues or just enjoy the extraordinary atmosphere. Come and dare!

LOTLab aims to inspire and enable artists to new approaches while democratising our own means of production. LOTLab offers an open, well-equipped space for experimentation, supported by our resources and network. In doing so we hope innovative formats and new ways of working can evolve.

//HOW 

LOTLab takes place on Tuesdays from 19:00 - 21:00. If you want to host a Lab, let us know and write us a short message, what you have in mind. We will get back to you asap to figure how to make it happen. LOTLab is part of our yearly program, therefore we provide a free space, simple technical conditions and support from our team if wanted, as well as marketing and promotion of your event.
